Dress Code

Alexis Carrington would never be seen wearing anything less than fabulous. As a female oil magnate, it was in her best interests to represent strength as well as femininity. Someone I know confessed that she only wears white cotton panties and bras. Seems rather odd, but her rationalization had something to do with her strict and rather lazy practice of bleaching the hell outta every load of laundry. Surprisingly, the local cobbler stocks  a variety of products; usual items like suede cleaner and sometimes the unexpected clear golf umbrella. Even compact and on a rack, it had a sleek and futuristic quality, I purchased it on the spot. The threat of showers has only occurred twice this week, each time I was prepared with my invisibrella and the compliments rolled in. Maneuver through a sea of black umbrellas on a crowded New York City sidewalk with style and ease. ($30)
