Although I detest the hunt, the spoils can be quite tasty and the accessories sublime. Typically worn over gloves, it's a stylish and usually absent component of the rugged-refined winter wardrobe. Get glammed up to your forearms with 3/4 length cape leather dress gloves. Superior English craftsmanship combined with buttery soft natural grain sheepskin in a hotsauce red color; three tiny covered buttons at the cuff, round out the qualities of a simply smashing glove. Not many companies can say they ethically source leather as a by-product of the meat-industry, Safi Gloves can. Having a Holly Golightly moment? Satisfy your cravings for the finer things in life with a pair of gray Marc by Marc Jacobs elbow length merino gloves. The wanna-be socialite would declare the semi-formal length appropriate for both daytime and evening — and she would be correct. Elongated gloves, associated with elegance and aristocracy, were typically worn with evening wear and popularized as daywear with Christian Dior's New Look in the 1950s. Wear with the half-sleeve swing coats, short-sleeve cardigans, and cropped jackets which ruled the runways this season. ($98)

Glove You Long Time

Now that Spring is upon us I can't wear my hot ass cashmere-lined leather gloves which have protected me thus far from subway grime. It's really quite disgusting what some people will do right before clinging to a poll; mostly coughing flem into their hands or picking their noses. Eww. I'm not into the Purell, so it may be wise to invest in some cotton, lace or fingerless leather gloves. LaCrasia's website is going through an overhaul so I found these from Caroline Aamato instead. $125 is a bit steep, but germaphobia ain't cheap.
