I love vintage clothing, but I detest vintage shoes. First of all, they're funky, usually stained with footsweat and generally gross-looking; secondly, the women of the past must've had tiny feet because I've never seen any that could fit my 9.5's. Re-Mix footwear however, produces authentic reproductions from the 1920's to the 1950's. These handtooled, leather
ankle-strap platforms are the cat's meow! They come in red too, but you can see the details better in the tan. Kinda pricey at $325, but a worthy investment yes?
